Paint your Love

I’m back!!

I’ve been gone for quite a while

I got busy with studies that left my mind

wander far away from my hobbies…

How does that work exactly?

Hmmm….I don’t know…emoticon

ANyway, I’m turning this blog into a review blog

especially for movies.  -Stories that are well told

and are oddly left as a puzzle…

Since everyone doesn’t get to understand a movie’s worth,

I will share what I have from what is lacking..

And get on with it, you probably know what I mean…emoticon

I’ve been watching movies since I was 3..

And my very first fave was The Puppet Master, I was then about 5.

So it happened..

I just really think that I take movies more seriously than

any others do… Or not..

Movies tend to immitate life. From that, you have yourself

more than just a treat. I hope I could further more explain it

but I guess you wouldn’t care.

So anyway please,

just read on…

For this entry my review would be again, about LOVE..

I may be a hopeless romantic guy, but I’m not into cheesy stuffs.

…Okay, maybe just a little bit..

LOVE is all what we want.. A person could claim

that he has plenty of love, but no matter what, one can never

deny a hunger for one he still seeks…

Take one example of a story

where LOVE was found but not pursued,

asked for but never given,

tricked but still never received…

So why do we really close our heart for others

and reserve it for only one? How do we get love

from that? And how are we really suppose to give love back?

This case is common to every person everywhere. He loves her,

but she loves the other man who also loves another woman..

And it goes on… I know that pursuing love pursues one’s happiness,

but sometimes we never realize within ourselves that the love we

are seeking is already following us.. waiting… calling out

for an attention.. All we gotta do is just open our eyes, open our minds,

and open our hearts. Then we can truly know what LOVE is.

Remember that Love is about sacrifice…

if you love somebody who can never love you back, give way and let go

that person.. Trust that, that somebody’s waiting for you deserves a chance.

Only then you will gain the fruit of LOVE..

In the movie Painted Skin (Wa Pei),  Directed by Gordon Chan.

LOVE was told in a horrific but in an elegant way…

For a demon has the darkest soul and evil heart, can she ever be loved?

After saving a bautiful woman from the bandits in the desert,

Commander Wang Sheng (Chen Kun) and his troops brings her back with them,

with a zero knowledge of what dark secret she possess..

Falling in-love with the master, Xiaowei (Xun Zhou; The Banquet) a fox in human form

pushes her effort to steal him from his loving wife Peirong (Vikki Zhao; So close).

She gets help from Xiao Yi (Qi Yu Wu),  -a chameleon who also takes a human form

constantly brings her fresh heart on terrorizing the town, murdering the residents

just to maintain their ugly secrets.

Peirong suspects the killings that’s been happening and asks Pang Yong

for help (played by Donnie Yen), Wang’s brother, who also once held love for her..

Trying him to convince that Xiaowei is resposible for the sudden tragedy in town,

a Demon Catcher, Xiao Bing (Sun Li) introduces herself to aid them..

As drama unfolds and secrets reveal, story of passion, loyalty, deception and temptation,

LOVE has never been this tense and thrilling…

Tabbed to be a horror film, this is not actually a close one..

Action scenes are mediocre, but you wouldn’t mind…

Effects aren’t that greater, but just on the taste..

Well, watching an unfamiliar movie is very simple…

Expect anything, and you will get everything…

If you’re tired of watching common love stories lately, try this out and

If not going to awe you, it will still surely give a satisfaction..

But I tell you, this is a good movie!!
