G.I. JOE - Live Action!!!

I don’t really quite remember the cartoon. What are the characters, and how the story goes. It’s another way of saying that I’m not a fan. But I am a fan of the genre. And what keeps me so excited about this Live-Action film of the title is knowing about how it’s going to be executed. Not exactly, but knowing that it is going to be a Sci-fi thriller and not just a war film, is enough to make me go jump off the building! Exaggerating aside, I think it’s gonna be one of the coolest movie ever to hit on screen!

The other kickin’ news is that Stephen Sommers is directing the film!!!! Yeah!!! Hell yea!!! No wonder why he didn’t do the Mummy 3.. He’s trying out his kills to another level of CGI FX!

The story is set at Brussels-based GIJOE, an acronym for the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, and revolves around an international co-ed force of operatives who use high-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil org headed by a Scottish arms dealer…

No further details about the film yet due to it’s release date coming soon 2009!

But cool pictures (with the cast names and characters) are already released! Enjoy!!!
